growing up in the city and back side of Tokyo, spending days of adolescence in New York. playing the piano, violin, and gut guitar to classical music from childhood. playing to rockabilly, country, blues, and ragtime, including live shows from teenage years while enjoying surfing and the outdoors. studying abroad in New York at the age of 18 at the same time starting to produce and edit photos, videos and music. now living as a musician, photographer and video creator. people, towns, freedom, drunkards, travel… surf-swing music with a gentle yet strong feeling of attachment, a new sense of buoyancy. In the towns by the sea, the towns in the mountain, the city a swing musician enjoying this exhilarating experience at the bars of each area. performing and composing music as a traveling duo group with the steel guitar, gut guitar, banjo guitar, loop machine, fiddle, percussion and keyboard. performing groove music to country, ragtime, old time, surf rock, rock’n roll, folk, and instrumental at live shows with the guitar.
